Author's Comment: I wrote this as a branching off of "Someday", my other Kohaku/Rin piece. Only, this time I wrote from Sesshomaru's perspective. I submitted it to the iy_themes LJ group for their "monster" theme and I was very happy with the results. I didn't expect it to become as popular as it did, but I'm happy nonetheless. Most recently it won an IYFG award for best one-shot in their 4th Q 2009 runnings.
